For correction of details in JEE Main 2025 application, the NTA authority will open the correction facility. Candidates are suggested to make use of this one time opportunity and edit/ modify the application form carefully. Once the application will be submitted, no changes are allowed later. If any updates regarding correction will be released by NTA, it gets updated in the article.

For Session 1, correction will be open from second week of December 2024. This option will be for one time correction opportunity of personal particulars & other details which will be provided after the last date of application submission. JEE Main 2025 application form last date to apply for Session 1 is till second week of December 2024.

JEE Main 2025 Correction Dates

The link to edit information in the application form of JEE Main 2025 (session 1) will be activated from second week of December 2024. Correction in the application for 2nd session will be done from first week of March 2025 . After this period no correction in the particulars will be entertained by the NTA authority under any circumstances.

For Session 1, correction window will be available via online mode. Candidates must note that correction will be done only in few editable details before the last date of correction.

JEE Main 2025 Image Correction

The board may provide the facility to make correction in the uploaded images. Correction in images will be done through login. It will be done from December 2024 for session I & in March 2025 for session II. Correction will be done in scanned images of photograph and signature during the correction period.

JEE Main Correction Fee Payment

The balance fee, if any due to correction in particulars, have to be paid by the candidates during that period. In case of fee payment, any changes done in the application will be updated after the successful payment.

Note: The additional amount (if applicable) should be paid by the candidates through Net Banking/ Debit card/ Credit Card/ PAYTM/ UPI during the correction period. Since, it is the one-time facility, extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them; therefore, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully because no further chance of correction will be given to the candidates for whatsoever reason.

The candidates should follow the following steps for JEE Main Correction 2025 in application form:

JEE Main Application Form 2025

JEE Main 2025 Application Form will be made available from first week of November 2024 (1st session). Candidates must fill the application form before the last date which is till second week of December 2024. For Session 2, students can register from first week of February till first week of March 2025.

Incomplete information in the application form can lead to disqualification of the candidate. The candidates must fill the application form through online mode only. The authority may also provide the facility of JEE Main application correction in some particulars.

Question: Modification in the mode of examination will be allowed?

Answer: No, it will not be allowed. The exam will be only through online CBT mode.

Question: If candidate applied for paper-1 and paper-2 but do not want to appear any one of the paper?

Answer: It is not the compulsion to appear for both the paper. Candidate can opt any of the paper of his/her choice but application fee will not be refunded.

Question: If selected English medium for appearing the test but now want to take the test in Hindi/Gujarati medium then what to do?

Answer: Such candidates will be required to do the correction in application form. In Computer Based examination, candidates can choose the medium during the examination.

Question: What action is to be taken, if the candidate has submitted more than one application?

Answer: In this case only one admit card will be issued to the candidate. Candidates are required to send an e-mail to [email protected] mentioning both the application numbers and specifying clearly the application number which they want to be considered.

Question: If selected Hindi/ Gujarati medium for appearing the test but now want to take the test in English medium then what to do?

Answer: The question paper will be bilingual (both in Hindi/ English and Gujarati/ English) for the candidates who have opted Hindi/ Gujarati medium. The candidate can attempt question in any medium during examination.

Question: In which particulars, JEE Mains correction in application form is allowed?

Answer: The particulars in application form which can be edited or modified by the candidates are mentioned by the authority in Annexure -1.

Question: If candidate is appearing in the 12th class examination in 2024 or improvement examination in 2023 then, what to enter in the field of roll number of class 12th?

Answer: It is not necessary to enter the roll number, if roll number is provided then fill it other leave it empty.
